Sleep Lab

The Colorado Institute of Sleep Medicine is a four bed, full service laboratory, which provides diagnostic evaluations for both pediatric and adult patients. Studies include full polysomnography, CPAP titration, multiple sleep latency testing (MSLT), and other specialized testing which may be required to diagnose seizure disorders or other sleep related movement disorders. The experienced staff of the sleep laboratory conducts both adult and pediatric sleep evaluations, and studies are tailored to the specific needs of
each patient and their referring physician.

The Director of our facility is Dr. William Orr, PhD, Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Our Director of Adult Sleep Studies is Kurt Lesh, MD, Board Certified in Family Practice, and the Director of Pediatric Sleep Studies is Kenneth Richeaux, MD Board Certified in Pediatrics. Day to day operations are the responsibility of Robert Sturgeon who managed the Memorial Hospital Sleep Lab for 15 years.

Our service is extraordinary. Sleep studies are scheduled within two weeks and doctors will receive a faxed confirmation of the date for the study. Written reports on the results are prepared within four business days of the completion of the study. We will file for approval as an out of network provider on any insurance plan that does not currently list us as a preferred provider. We are working to add many insurance plans to the list of our accepted insurances.
